EAST TEXAS CORNERSTONE
In 2013 East Texas Cornerstone Assistance Network received its nonprofit status as a 501(c)3 social services agency. Cornerstone is a unique agency that works with clients on a referral only basis. When one of our partner organizations discovers a person they believe is ready to move ahead in their life they send the client to us. Cornerstone discovers the client’s most pressing need and partners with the referring organization to meet that need.

We believe in breaking down barriers for female professionals and entrepreneurs, so that women have access to the opportunities, experiences and support they need to achieve their aspirations, regardless of economical and geographical constraints.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

CASA for KIDS of EAST TEXAS
The mission of CASA for Kids of East Texas, Inc. is to support abused and neglected children in Smith, Van Zandt and Wood Counties by providing court appointed trained community volunteers who advocate for loving, safe, and permanent outcomes.
FitSTEPS FOR LIFE
We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with cancer by providing physical conditioning and support programs in the home, hospital, and affiliated community centers.
MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING
The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.
CHRISTUS TINITY MOTHER FRANCES HEALTH SYSTEM
CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities and shifts in our many hospitals and clinics. Volunteers assist our patients, visitors, and staff in our Gift Shop, Information Desks, waiting rooms, and nursing units. Days and times are flexible.
BETHESDA HEALTH CLINIC
Numerous local churches have become Bethesda partners by taking part in the Saturday Clinics program and by giving monthly or annually to support our mission. The Saturday clinics are planned volunteer days where churches identify the doctors and dentists in their congregations, who then help staff Bethesda on a Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Non-medical members of a congregation often volunteer their time as well.

The Longview Dream Center exists to fight hunger and provide resources and quality programs that enhance the quality of life for the citizens of our city and region.

Since 1940, the United Way of Smith County has partnered with local nonprofit agencies, businesses, and individuals to identify critical issues, create partnerships, and raise funds to help our local neighbors.

St. Paul Children’s Foundation is committed to programs that positively impact children, recognizing the ultimate goal is to help families not just survive, but thrive through our programs. These programs include a food pantry, clothes closet, dental and medical services and much more.
EAST TEXAS FOOD BANK
The East Texas Food Bank, located in Tyler, very much relies on volunteers to help us with our mission. Over 15,000 volunteers logged more than 53,000 hours in FY2018, helping us provide approximately 21 million meals.

LITERACY COUNCIL OF TYLER
Literacy Council of Tyler is a community-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to eliminating illiteracy and changing the lives of adults and their families forever. Through its supporters, staff, partners and volunteers, LCOT positively impacts the quality of life for thousands of East Texans.
EAST TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER
We are looking for energetic adults to escort patients from one department to the next. Must be able to walk, push a patient in a wheelchair and make the patients and their families feel at ease as they are going through tests, screenings, procedures and waiting. Volunteer one 4-hour shift per week, this is Monday - Friday only, typical shifts are 8 AM to noon or noon to 4 PM. Get your walking exercise done while you enjoy helping patients in a health care environment.
CHRIST CHURCH EPISCOPAL - TYLER MISSION WEEK
Each year the youth of Christ Church, Tyler spend a week lending a hand in our local community by partnering with several local non-profits to serve those in the Tyler area who could use a helping hand. Our week of service always begins a fundraiser on Sunday, during our Parish Picnic. From there we spend Monday through Friday working in various parts of the Tyler community painting houses, cleaning up parks or tidying up local non-profits, doing small construction projects for the elderly, and a variety of other projects.

PRISON FELLOWSHIP - ANGEL TREE
Angel Tree® partners with churches and organizations to provide a gift, the Gospel, and a personal message to children on behalf of their incarcerated parents. Caring volunteers deliver gifts to children just in time for Christmas—a tangible reminder that they are valued, loved, and never forgotten.
EAST TEXAS CRISIS CENTER
The East Texas Crisis Center adheres to the highest standards of ethical conduct regarding clients, co-workers, students and volunteers. We are dedicated to the self-growth, support, and empowerment of all clients. Therefore we require any volunteers and staff who will have direct contact with clients to complete a 40+ hour training program. Training is held twice a year and is usually completed over a two month time frame.
HOSPICE PLUS TYLER
The mission of Hospice is to honor life and offer compassion to individuals, and their families, when facing a life-limiting illness.
Therapet’s mission is to utilize specially trained and certified animals to promote health, hope and healing.
MEALS ON WHEELS MINISTRY
We dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled remain independent in their own homes as long as possible. We prepare and deliver a hot lunch to our client's homes Monday through Thursday. Our volunteers usually come once a week to pick up the hot food and deliver a route. They provide their own vehicle and each route takes 1 to 1 ½ hours to deliver. We have volunteer sites in Tyler and 24 other towns within our 6-county service area.
ALZHEIMER’S ALLIANCE of SMITH COUNTY
The Alzheimer’s Alliance of Smith County is a local, independent nonprofit organization committed to walking beside all those in Smith County on their journeys with Alzheimer's disease and dementia-related illnesses.
WEST LAKE BAPTIST CHURCH, CHANDLER, TX
Mission West Lake provides a monthly food bank ministry to families in the Chandler area. They also provide a Clown Minisry with the SonShine Sisters and a clothing closet.
GRACE HOUSE LONGVIEW
Our mission with Grace House of Longview is to provide this community with a faith based transition home for young women who have struggled with incarceration due to addictions and other poor living choices. each woman will be interviewed to determine her desire to commit to 9 months of spiritual training to help lead them to a Christ centered and addiction free life.
CARE - CHRIST CENTERED ABORTION RECOVERY & EDUCATION
CARE’s mission it to restore lives wounded by abortion and educate the community on its consequences.
RAHAB’S RETREAT AND RANCH
Rahab’s Retreat & Ranch is a voluntary, faith-based program serving victims of sex trafficking and women in the sex industry free of charge. Women who have been physically, emotionally and sexually abused as well as those coming from jail will find a safe haven at Rahab’s Retreat & Ranch.
